Spooky Channel Project 2003 to 2006
The Spooky Channel Project was stated in September of 2003 when Bay Islands Beach Resort asked us to form a team to Survey, Measure, Map Photograph, and Video the channel for them. They have promoted this site for years, but little idea what was out there to be discovered. They wanted to know where the different features are and how to find them. How deep, how long, and how do you define the Channel and its impact on the surrounding reef and environment? We were asked to establish a base line for geological and biological features so that they can monitor any changes or impacts from weather, divers, and natural forces.
